American Silver Eagle Premiums May Be Rising…Buy Yours Now!

American Silver Eagles

American silver eagle coin

Investors in silver bullion coins may know that 2013 was a record year for the sale of American silver eagle coins.  While nearly 43 million silver eagles were sold, the final total would have been much higher if the U.S. Mint had not run out of supplies and suspended the sale of the coins for a week. Demand for American silver eagles has carried over to 2014, but supplies remain tight, as the U.S. Mint produced fewer coins in 2014 for initial release than in 2013.  Add to the fact that silver experienced a 36% loss in 2013, and all signs point toward higher premiums and fewer supplies.

Thus far, premiums still remain reasonable, but it’s impossible to know how long this will continue to be case.  As you may recall, silver eagle premiums rose as high as $6 – $8 per coin at one point in 2013, and may approach these levels if supplies remain tight.  While many Atlanta coin dealers have little to no American silver eagles in stock, Atlanta Gold & Coin Buyers is pleased to report that we have a decent supply of these coins available, but don’t expect them to last long, as many of our buyers have been purchasing silver eagles in bulk.

A list of our current inventory of American silver eagles, as well as some of the most common gold and silver bullion coins, can be found on our current inventory page here.  In addition to American silver eagles, we have other silver coin and bullion offers in stock, including 90% silver dimes, quarters, and half dollars, 40% silver half dollars, Morgan and Peace dollars, and even a 100 oz silver bar!

We’re available to meet with customers at their convenience, including evenings and weekends, and are open most holidays, including MLK Day.  Feel free to contact us via e-mail at sales@atlantagoldandcoin.com or via phone at 404-236-9744.  We look forward to hearing from you and earning your business!
