After nearly one and a half years, Atlanta Gold and Coin Buyers has decided to discontinue operating out of our Pendergrass Flea Market location, and would like to thank our customers for their loyalty and patronage.

Why has we decided to discontinue at the Flea Market? The reason is three fold. Due to your loyalty, support, and referrals, we’re now doing a good bit of business out of our
Suwanee location and in Midtown – both buying and selling gold, silver, platinum, old and rare coins. This has also carried over to the weekends, whereas previously, we weren’t doing much weekend business at our Suwanee location.

Secondly, due to ordinance changes in the city in which we’re licensed, we’re no longer directly buying gold, silver, and platinum jewelry or sterling silverware; although, we’ve made arrangements with our refinery so that you can still receive the same great rates that you’re accustomed to – just now on a referral basis. Lastly, and most importantly, working all weekend at the Pendergrass Flea Market caused us to miss out on valuable family time, and that was a sacrifice that we were no longer willing to make.

How does our current arrangement differ from the Pendergrass Flea Market? We see customers at our office in Suwanee seven days a week and in Midtown during the work week by appointment only. While on the surface it may appear to sound like a bit of a hassle, it’s really not. It allows us to be flexible to accommodate your busy schedule, including meeting in the morning, during regular business hours, in the evenings, and on the weekend. Not everyone is available to meet during regular working hours due to full time jobs or other obligations.

This also enables us to provide you with our undivided attention, unlike with most Atlanta coin dealers or coin buyers, where you have to take a number and only have a few minutes to talk to a coin expert before you’re interrupted by other customers. Furthermore, seeing customers by appointment allows you to conduct business in privacy, which is one of the aspects of this arrangement that our customers appear to appreciate the most.
