Atlanta Gold & Coin Buyers is excited to announce that we’ve recently been named as Atlanta’s 2015 coin dealer of the year by Kudzu. Many of you may already be familiar with Kudzu, but for those of you who aren’t, Kudzu is considered one of the leading social media sites in the industry. This is the third time in the last four years that we’ve won this prestigious award, and we’re honored and humbled by the support that we’ve received from our valued and loyal customer base. Our company was built on providing superior customer service by meeting or exceeding the expectations of our customers, being transparent and offering among the most competitive rates both on the buy and sell side, and this award helps to reinforce that we’re meeting the needs of our customers.

Many of our customers are first time buyers or sellers and are a bit apprehensive going in to the process, as they want to be certain that they’re being treated fairly and are receiving a fair price. We pride ourselves on providing new coin buyers with unbiased information and letting them make the decision that they feel best meets their current and long term needs and goals. We never try to steer our customers toward a particular product, and offer a pressure-free environment in which to conduct business. In fact, if a customer is uncertain as to if they want to proceed with a purchase, we oftentimes recommend that they pause and give it some thought before committing to a purchase. We endeavor to build long term relationships with our customers, which far outweighs the benefit of receiving a quick sale.

Our approach is similar with respect to buying coins, coin collections or bullion. We carefully evaluate coin collections of all types and sizes and identify for customers premium coins or sets that may be more valuable due to their condition, mintage, or mint location. This is done without prompting and is a different approach to many of our competitors. In fact, we’re the only coin dealer in Atlanta that has prepared and published on our website a rare coin guide that we offer as a free resource to all of our customers. We want to help educate our customers or prospective customers to ensure that you receive a fair price for your items whether or not you choose to do business with us.

Another way that many of our customers choose to do business with us is through our mail-in option. More and more customers these days are choosing to sell their coins online. This is an especially appealing option for customers who are located outside of the metro Atlanta area, are out of state, or who just don’t have time within their busy schedules to meet in person. We take the same approach when handling mail-in orders as we do with customers that we meet with in person. An added benefit is that we’ll reimburse you for your shipping costs (up to $20) and in most cases will issue a check the same day or following day upon receipt of your coins or bullion. In fact, two customers just this past week opted to use our mail-in feature.

While we’re on the subject of customer transactions, we wanted to point out one more feature that you may not be familiar with. Within the past 18 months, we developed a coin selling application, which is accessible from the coin buying rate page of our website. This feature allows you to lock in a rate for your coins or bullion 24 hours a day without ever having to pick up the phone or send us an e-mail. We have identified the most common coins and bullion that we purchase for this feature, but keep in mind that we purchase many other types of coins, so if you don’t see your particular item listed, contact us for a prompt and competitive quote.
